Each October, the DDRC’s Client Safety Committee hosts a week of presentations, activities, and discussions surrounding the safety of our clients.
This year the committee covered topics like boundaries and consent, food safety, hazardous home waste, where to go in an emergency, safety in the community, and more!

As the summer months draw to a close, and with growing season more than halfway over, we thought it would be a great time to update readers on the progress of the DDRC plot in the Rutland Park community garden!
The Learning and Leadership Garden Club met on-site last Monday to discuss the pros and cons of their first planting season. Despite a bit of hail damage, the crops have come in nicely, and the garden is truly something for all of the club members to take pride in.
We had so much fun with Take Your Dog to Work Day this year!
Our 35th annual Earl Grey Vipond Charity Golf Classic was a huge success, thanks to our dedicated committee and many volunteers, sponsors, and golfers!
