Movies by Moonlight

In 2003, the DDRC’s social brand everyone belongs was launched. Ten years later this brand, which has since become the agency’s vision, is as relevant as ever: the belief that our communities are more vibrant, healthy, safe, strong, and satisfying when all people, regardless of ethno-cultural background, disability, age, sexual orientation, and socioeconomic class are welcome and to fully participate. What better way to recognize this milestone than to celebrate with our communities?

As summer is coming to an end, we are inviting you (and everyone you know!) to a free everyone belongs outdoor movie event! The evening will kick off with a short film from Picture This … on the Road (part of the Picture This Film Festival), followed by a full-length animated feature. So grab a blanket, some snacks, your kids, siblings, friends, grandparents, or neighbours, and join us for a night of fun under the stars!

Vote now for our Saturday Children’s Learning Program!

We are seeking a grant to launch our Saturday Children’s Learning Program with the objective of helping children with developmental disabilities improve their day-to-day lives.  There are many children who have developmental disabilities that require assistance, and families that lack the resources or networks to provide the best opportunities for their children.  Our program is one of supported play to foster learning and focuses on the needs of children, aligning program goals with goals determined between Family Support for Children with Disabilities (FSCD) and families.

Vote here to help create a new resource for children and families with the assistance of the Field Law Community Fund Program.
